Hemp for Happier and Healthier House Plants

Hemp for Happier and Healthier House Plants

You may have been able to work some life back into your plants a few times, but most of the time, those efforts fall short. It gets to the point where no  amount of love and attention can bring back to life what once was a happy and healthy houseplant.

However, the right soil can prevent it from happening in the first place! This is where hemp comes into the picture.

Hemp, with its organic and nutritive qualities, makes for a natural soil enrichment that is healthy, eco-friendly and rich in bio-nutrients. It naturally revives depleted soils making them non-toxic and more nutrient-rich.

This is why we, at HEMPALTA™, created Hemp-Pak™, the only a, premium, organic soil enrichment made from hemp. It provides natural aeration to plants, decreases compaction and provides optimal water retention and natural nutrients to help plants thrive.

So the next time you go away for the summer, follow these tips to make sure you come back to happier and healthier house plants and avoid coming home to sad dried out plants:

  • The Right Light: Plants differ greatly in their need for light. While some grow best in indirect and diffused light, others thrive under direct sunlight all year-round. Know what works best for your plants and make sure they’re in the right light before you head off.

  • Less is More: Too much fertilizer often does more harm than good. Houseplants don’t need fertilizer as much or as often as outdoor plants. So when you change soil, skip the fertilizer.

  • Pack in the Hemp-Pak: Help your plants retain moisture by adding 2 oz of Hemp-Pak per 4L of soil. Hemp-Pak allows for a longer time between watering and combats evaporation in dry conditions. It keeps your plants from drying out and, unlike traditional fertilizers, does not cause nutrient burn.

  • Being a plant parent or a traveler shouldn’t have to be a choice you’ve to make. Hemp-Pak makes both possible, all while keeping your plants happy and healthy even while you’re away. Check it out!
